Looked out and thought dusk was dawn.
The realisation was a reversal to night from day through dawn and then in dusk to realise night falling to night and day lifting to day in dawn.
The realisation was not only to set out now would be hours of gradual light to light but to set out now would be hours of half light to night and hours of night and hours of night to half light and hours of half light to light.
In light it is harder
In half light it is softer
In night it softens entirely in night
